My teaching philosophy starts with the belief that learning to play the piano is beneficial for the mind, body, and soul. I strive to bring out the best in each student by encouraging each student's individual growth and potential with the goal to make each student's piano playing the best it can be. I believe the role of piano instruction is to help students become independent musicians who are able to experience the joy of playing piano throughout their entire lives. My hope is that students take this joy with them and share it with others for a lifetime.
